Kayak lessons are available during the Kayak School throughout the spring, summer, and fall months. Please see our listing of classes under the kayak instruction tab at the top of this page.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Reservations are not required during normal hours of operation. Rentals are first come first serve, so please come early to ensure the kayak you are looking for is available. If you have questions please call the Schools main office at 800-310-4504.
I’ve never paddled before. Can I still rent a kayak?
Yes. Kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddleboards are fun for any ability level! We do not place restrictions on rentals due to lack of experience. Kayak and stand up paddleboard lessons are available on scheduled dates at Lincoln Woods. Please see the kayak instruction tab at the top of this page.
What is the minimum age for renting or using a kayak?
There is no set minimum age to use our rentals. Children must be able to fit properly into our PFD’s (floation vests) and kids 17 or younger must have a parent or guardian present to sign a waiver form before renting a boat.
