2013 Mount Monadnock Trails Week!

Conservation / Events

Want to get your hands and boots dirty to give back to the trails you love to hike on?

Join conservation professionals and other volunteers from the Forest Society and NH State Parks in restoring hiking trails on the second most climbed mountain in the world,  New Hampshire’s Mount Monadnock! Come for one day or several, alone or with friends! Prior trail maintenance experience is very welcome but not necessary. Tasks for the week will include restoring and cleaning drainages, building new waterbars and stone stairs, improving trail tread, and constructing footbridges, etc.
